CLARKSBURG, W.Va. — The January 2016 term of the Harrison County Grand Jury returned indictments against 78 individuals Wednesday.
Among those indicted include:
-Terrance R. Hilliard, 21, Zachary D. Hilliard, 21, and Kelsi R. Riddle, 19, all of Clarksburg, who are being held responsible for the death of Dustin Baldwin.
The three are alleged to have chased Baldwin down, first in a vehicle driven by Riddle while he ran and then on foot to his grandmother’s home in Clarksburg where Terrence hit him in the head twice, Zachary kicked him and took his phone and car keys after he had been knocked unconscious.
Baldwin was found later on the morning of August 19, taken to the hospital and died on September 8.
All three are charged with one count of Murder and one count of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery in the First Degree, while Zachary is additionally charged with one count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance.
-Tevin Christopher Williams, 22, of Charleston, who led police in Clarksburg on a high-speed chase back in July.
He and his juvenile passenger were parked in the West Main Street Go Mart lot on July 17 when approached by an officer on a suspicion vehicle call, according to the criminal complaint.
After taking off, Williams reached speeds up to 70 mph while running red lights and passing other vehicles, eventually reaching a dead end on Grant Street where he tried to back the vehicle into one of the cruisers and then attempted to flee on foot before being captured.
He attempted to give false information about his identity, but police were able to determine the truth and that the vehicle was stolen from Charleston.
Willimas was charged by the grand jury with one count of Fleeing in a Vehicle Showing Reckless Indifference to the Safety of Others, one count of Destruction of Property and one county of Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer.
-Christopher Michael Roof, 38, of Clarksburg, who is accused of robbing a Rich Oil Gas Station.
Back in July, he allegedly came into the convenience store along West Milford Street in Clarksburg with a gun and demanded money.
He fled the scene on foot and would not be captured until police tracked him down days later at the Jeannie’s Hot Spot in Fairmont.
The grand jury charged Roof with one count of Robbery in the First Degree.
