PORTLAND, ME — A West Virginia juvenile missing since September has been found a few states away.
The U.S. Marshals Maine Violent Offender Task Force located the juvenile in Portland, Maine. The juvenile ran away from their Hillsboro, West Virginia foster home last year.
Authorities said through an investigation, they learned the juvenile had been located at a residence in Portland. They recovered them without incident.
The Portland Police Department, USMS Northern District of West Virginia’s Mountain State Fugitive Task Force, and the West Virginia State Police all assisted in locating the missing person.
