INWOOD, W.Va. — Investigators in Berkeley County are releasing still images of a person of interest in a shooting incident at a South Berkeley bar last month.

During the early morning hours May 17th, a man opened fire on a crowded area of the parking lot at the Coco Loco bar off Pilgrim Street in Inwood.

At the time, Berkeley County Sheriff’s office told The Panhandle News Network there had been a dispute inside the club just before 3 a.m. and security separated a group of people to the outside of the building.
A verbal altercation ensued ‘outside’ the club, and the Sheriff’s Office says an individual walked up and fired a round in the area of a large crowd of people.
The individual then fled the scene.
There were no reports of injuries or property damage.
The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office released a number of images they say are of a person of interest. “Video surveillance was obtained of the incident. We are asking the public for assistance in identifying the male shown in the pictures. Anyone with information on the identity of the subject is asked to contact Sgt. Funk at 304-267-7000.”
