HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A Cabell County man charged with shooting a victim in the shoulder waived his preliminary hearing Monday.
Chase Misner, 20, of Huntington, reportedly fired a shot that injured a victim at around 7 a.m. on September 17 in the 600 block of 31st Street. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries to their shoulder.
Police found him in a Huntington home after a five-day search. He’s charged with two counts of wanton endangerment, one count of malicious assault, and one count of breaking and entering a non-residence.
Misner is free on bond. His case now goes to a grand jury.
